Gautala Autramghat Sanctuary
A protected wildlife sanctuary in the Satmala and Ajanta hill ranges of the Western Ghats — established 1986, spanning roughly 260 sq km of dry deciduous forest. Home to leopards, sloth bears and over 240 recorded bird species, with the ancient rock-cut Pitalkhora caves inside its boundaries.
